- Install Docker Desktop on Windows or macOS, or Docker Engine with Compose on Linux.
- Unzip the download and open a terminal in its folder.
- Run the command below. Allow time for the first directory import.
- On the host, visit
http://localhost:8080. On other devices, visithttp://YOUR-COMPUTER-LAN-IP:8080.
docker compose up -d --build
The package also supports Python 3.11+ with SQLite FTS5: run python server.py. Setup and network instructions are included.
What comes with it
A local public-business directory snapshot, sponsor listings, keyword search and daily reference-page refreshes while the host is running. Local search works offline after installation. Source ownership labels are retained; they are not independent verification.

Know the boundaries
This is a read-only search edition. Your online account, messages, private locker, news feeds and journal stay on the hosted site. It does not control household devices or install firmware on routers. Router compatibility needs the exact model checked first.
Use a trusted home network. Do not expose port 8080 directly to the internet. A private VPN can connect your devices from other Wi-Fi networks. For app installation features on a LAN address, configure trusted HTTPS; ordinary HTTP can be bookmarked.
